🎉 Happy Birthday to our amazing Program Manager, Bri! 🥳

We are so grateful for the dedication Bri brings to FeedNC each day, especially the care and encouragement she pours into our Workforce Development students and programs. Her heart for others is evident in everything she does.

When she’s not supporting our students, you can probably find her loving on her dogs, searching for the perfect thrifted find, or filling the office with plenty of laughter.

Bri, you are truly a joy to have on our team. Thank you for all you do for our students, our programs, and the entire FeedNC family. We hope you have the happiest birthday! 🎂🎈

Hunger Action Month begins in September 🧡

FeedNC is inviting local businesses, community groups, families, and individuals to Sponsor a Meal at Donoghue’s Open Door to help provide a fresh, healthy meal for those in our community.

Last year alone, Donoghue’s served more than 50,000 meals!

Gather your coworkers, family, church, or community group and help us make sure there’s always room at the table.

🍂 FeedNC’s Food Truck is hitting the road this fall to help provide meals for seniors in our community!

Beginning September 2, FeedNC will be at Cascade Garden Apartments on Wednesdays, distributing healthy frozen meals that can easily be heated at home. 💚

📅 Wednesdays, September 2–November 4
⏰ 1–2:30 PM, or while meals last
📍 Cascade Garden Apartments

Meals are available while supplies last, and quantities may be limited.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring nutritious meals directly to our senior neighbors this fall! 🚚🍽️

🎉 Happy Birthday to FeedNC Operations Specialist, Sha'lese Turner! 💚

Sha'lese’s journey with FeedNC began as a student in our Warehouse Workforce Development program, and today, we’re incredibly proud to have her as part of the FeedNC staff!

Sha'lese does a wonderful job helping keep our campus running smoothly each day, and we’re so thankful for the hard work, care, and energy she brings to our team.

An unexpected shelf cloud made its way over FeedNC this morning, but no worries! Our amazing volunteers were on it, and quickly pivoted the market indoors.

Our Veterans Farmers Market is still ON!

Ready to take the next step toward a new career? 💚

Applications are OPEN for FeedNC’s Fall Workforce Development session! This tuition-free, 10-week program is designed for individuals who are unemployed or underemployed and ready to build the skills and experience needed to move forward in their careers.

Choose between our Culinary or Warehouse pathway and receive:

✨ 50 hours of life skills curriculum
✨ 150 hours of hands-on job training
✨ Marketable certifications
✨ Assistance finding a job
✨ Up to $1,000 in incentives per student!

📅 Fall Session: September 14–November 18
