Neil Armstrong Elementary PTO & Title I are excited to invite you to a special evening celebrating the GRANDEST people in our students' lives!

Admission is FREE for everyone! Flyers went home before Fall Break!

Join us for a fun-filled evening featuring:

- Card and board games
- Puzzles and crafts
- Raffles and prizes
- Classroom visits
- Photo opportunities
- Dinner and more!

Dinner Option: $8 per person

We'll be serving a delicious chicken and noodle dinner! Dinner is completely optional, but reservations and payment are required by Friday, October 23 for anyone purchasing a meal.

Each quarter, we recognize staff members who make a meaningful difference at NAES through their dedication to students and our school community. Congratulations to Miss Doyle and Mr. Silver, our Teachers of the Quarter, and Miss Jugg, our Support Staff Member of the Quarter!

Miss Doyle brings a can-do attitude and an upbeat spirit to kindergarten! She is a breath of fresh air, approaching challenges with optimism and helping our youngest learners feel encouraged and ready to try. We appreciate the joy and enthusiasm she brings to NAES!

Mr. Silver may prefer to stay under the radar, but his impact deserves recognition! His creativity brings learning to life, and he builds meaningful connections with his students. His care extends to his colleagues, too, making him a valued part of our school community!

Miss Jugg has stepped right into her role with heart and enthusiasm! She advocates for students and builds meaningful connections with both students and staff. Her caring approach helps those around her feel heard, valued, and supported. Our support staff are essential partners in student success. Their skills, care, and daily contributions help create a school where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.

Today we had our convocation to celebrate 1st 9 weeks achievements, say BOO to Bullying and enjoy some friendly competition!

While we had so many great things to highlight, we are especially proud of the behavior all of our students exhibited throughout the convocation. The hard work our staff put into keeping expectations consistent through CHAMPS is paying off, and today was a great example of that! 🙌

We love seeing our NAES students celebrate one another, show respect, and demonstrate what it looks like to be part of a positive school community.

🌟 NAES Student Spotlight: Meet Bryton Lambert! 🌟

Bryton is a third grader whose love of sports keeps him active beyond our school walls!

An NF1 and epilepsy warrior, Bryton finds ways to participate, grow, and shine. He plays basketball, baseball, and soccer in Mooresville recreational leagues; basketball, flag football, and track through Special Olympics; and kickball and baseball at the League of Miracles!

Bryton brings determination to his activities and keeps moving forward by focusing on what he CAN do!

Learning together builds understanding:
NF1 is a genetic condition that can affect the skin and nerves, while epilepsy is a neurological condition that causes recurring seizures. Both affect people differently. Learning about these conditions helps us build a more understanding, inclusive, and supportive school community.

We are proud to celebrate Bryton’s interests, effort, and accomplishments. Keep shining, Bryton!

What better way to wrap up Fall Break than with an afternoon of flipping, jumping, playing, and having fun with our Neil Armstrong friends?!
