Some days remind us just how strong our communities truly are.
Yesterday afternoon, the Mooreton Fire Department responded to the fire at Antelope Creek Bar and Grill alongside neighboring fire departments, local farmers, local businesses, residents, and countless volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who answered the call without hesitation on such an extremely hot day.
Thank you to the members of the Wyndmere Fire District, Dwight Fire and Rescue - North Dakota, Great Bend Volunteer Fire, Wahpeton Fire Department, Wyndmere-Barney Ambulance, Richland County Emergency Management, Richland County 9-1-1, Richland County Sheriffs Office & Ambulance Service CHI for your professionalism, teamwork, and countless hours of hard work. Thank you also to the farmers who brought equipment & water, the businesses that offered support, food, water, and the friends and neighbors who stepped up in any way they could.
Days like today remind us that no one responds alone. It takes an entire community working together, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.
Our thoughts are with everyone at ACBG as they begin the difficult process of assessing the damage. We wish them strength in the days ahead and look forward to seeing them back in operation as soon as theyโre able.
From all of us at the Mooreton Fire Department, thank you. We are so proud to serve such an incredible community.
