Rest is productive too.
As the school year comes to an end and summer begins, many teens, parents, and families are carrying a lot—emotionally, mentally, and physically.
This season can be a good reminder that slowing down is not laziness. Rest, sleep, time outside, connection, and taking breaks from constant pressure all play an important role in overall mental wellness.
Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is pause, recharge, and give ourselves permission to breathe.
During Mental Health Awareness Month, Clay County Public Health is encouraging our community to make space for rest, connection, and self-care as we transition into summer.
CredibleMind offers free, private mental wellness resources for teens, parents, and caregivers related to stress, emotional wellness, anxiety, sleep, relationships, and more.
