Minnesota State Moorhead's student-produced program, Campus News - MSUM, took home the national Mark of Excellence Award for Best All-Around Television News Magazine from the Society of Professional Journalists.

After placing first at the regional level, our students beat out entries from much larger universities across the country to secure top national honors. This marks the highest achievement in the history of the program, which has been producing student journalism since the early 1980s, and tallied more than 600 awards, distinctions, and honors in that time.
