In conjunction with The Ventura County Fire Department, the Ventura City Fire Department, the Oxnard Fire Department, the Santa Paula Fire Department, the Fillmore Fire Department and the Federal Fire Department we are the primary 9-1-1 paramedic ambulance provider to the county. In addition, we provide non-emergency inter-facility ambulance transportation as well as critical care transport when needed. We serve an area of over 2200 square miles and a population of over 850,000 people. AMR Ventura County employs approximately 150 paramedics and EMTs and handles an average of over 64,000 calls annually. AMR Ventura County is the largest first-level EMS responder and paramedic ambulance transport provider in Ventura County. The operation offers a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency medical transport services in the county as well as to destinations outside of the county.
