126 MPH?
But I'm running late for court!
NOPE!
I have to find a bathroom!
NOPE!
My wife is giving birth and I need to get there!
NOPE!
It's brand new and I wanted to see what it could do!
NOPE!
We've heard it all, and we still believe there is no good reason to drive 126 MPH in and out of traffic. This driver was cited and his motorcycle towed. We urge all drivers to obey speed limits and regulatory signs, avoid aggressive behavior, and share the road responsibly. Have a safe holiday season.

From November 26th through November 30th, the California Highway Patrol conducted its annual holiday enforcement period over the Thanksgiving weekend. During this 102 hour period, the CHP Moorpark Area issued over 660 citations and had over 840 enforcement contacts for violations that were unsafe and proven to cause crashes, such as impaired driving, speed, and occupant restraints. While CHP Moorpark was out in force on the busiest holiday for California roadways, only 5 property damage only crashes occurred, no injury crashes, and no fatal crashes occurred within our area of service. The CHP’s goal in proactively searching for these violations is to help everyone get to their holiday destinations safely. Please enjoy the rest of the holidays responsibly.
