As of August 1st the Moose Lake Police Dept. will officially be ran by the Carlton County Sheriff's office. With that being said this page will be closed at the end of the day on July 31st. We know the Sheriff's dept. will do a great job taking care of our citizens and we want to thank all of you for your support throughout the years!

Please note starting May 10th our office will no longer be open on a daily basis. If you are in need of assistance please call the office and leave a message, our officer will return your call as soon as they are in. We will no longer be taking fingerprints due to low staff. We will still have the green box medication drop but if you have medications to drop off please call and schedule a time for drop off with our officer. As always if you have an emergency or need immediate assistance please call 911.

We would like all the citizens of Moose Lake to be aware that there is a public meeting at city hall on January 24th at 6pm to discuss the future of the Moose Lake Police dept. Please see the city's website for details on how you can watch if you are not able to attend.

UPDATE!! Missing person has been located!!

Missing person in the City of Moose Lake last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey sweatpants walking down the soo line trail. If you have seen this individual or have information please call the Carlton County Sheriffs Office.

Cancel the missing person. He has been located. Thank you all for your assistance.

Reminder our department offers Ink Fingerprints! Schedule an appointment by calling our office during our office hours Monday-Thursday 8am-2pm. We do charge a fee of $40 per fingerprint card!
