Due to prolonged dry weather, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has moved the St. Croix River basin—which includes the City of Mora—into the Drought Warning Response Phase. The effects of the dry weather can be seen around the City, County and State.
To protect our municipal water supply and meet state mandates, all residents and businesses are asked to reduce non-essential water use immediately to help protect this valuable resource.

We are experiencing an equipment failure, Aug 7, 2926, 6:35 am, on 4th street and Cedar currently. Crews are onsite and working to repair the issue. Out time roughly out until 9 am. this morning. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to complete the repair safety. Thank you.

With the recent spike in cyber security attacks on utility systems that have been happening in the last couple of days, MMU would like to let you know we continually work to keep up to date on security for our water and wastewater systems as it is avaible.
Valuing the importance of these systems is top priority to keep all customers of the utilities safe and to keep providing a reliable service.
MMU Would like to thank all customers for the utilities and encourage any suspicious activity to be reported.

A reminder to those in the 4th, Cedar,7th, Villa drive, and Village Green Place, there was a scheduled outage for power line repair for today, the 23rd. Please look at the attached map.
Notification was handed out by staff or left as a door hanger. This has already started and will be off until estimated 11:59 am. If you have questions, you can call the utilities office for information. Thank you.

Thank you to the MMU Electric Staff for what you do, no matter what time, day or night, to meet the electrical needs of the community and customers. It is appreciated, as staff are not always seen in those situations.
*Safety is a big priority for MMU customers and the Mora Community.*
We are asking that if you see outage areas, to please avoid as you can, not only to keep yourself safe, but to keep MMU staff safe with down lines/damaged areas.
Please be aware to not drive over downed lines, touch down lines, or move them in any way.
Safety and efficiency of restoring power during an outage when needed is a priority for all. Please keep everyone safe.
