We will also take time to honor Kedric Valdez and Ms. Renee Moody, who were recently injured and are on the road to recovery.

Pecos is hosting the 2025 Middle School Girls & Boys NRG Tournament! There will be 16 teams competing over this 3-day event.

📣 Mora Schools at the MESA Regional Rally!
We are so proud of our students from MHS and LGMS (including our 6th-grade MESA team) who represented Mora at the MESA Regional Rally at NMHU on November 21!

💡 Competition Challenge:
Teams were asked to build a prototype with both electrical and mechanical components. Our students chose to pay tribute to the historic mills of the Mora Valley—showcasing creativity, engineering skills, and pride in our community. Their project looked amazing in action!

🏛️ STEM & Leadership Workshops
Students also participated in 10 hands-on workshops, including:
Swift coding • Fractals • NM medicinal herbs • Social Emotional Wellness • Robotics • Anthropology • Mobile planetarium • + More!

Even though they didn’t bring home a trophy this time, these students truly showed what it means to be a Ranger/Rangerette—hardworking, innovative, and proud of their community.

💚 Thank you to everyone who supported this opportunity—the students couldn’t do it without you!
