🎃🧡 Be Bright. Be Seen. Be Safe! 🧡🎃

Halloween should be full of treats, laughter, and happy memories! As our little Mustangs head out for trick-or-treating, let's make sure safety is part of the fun. 👻

🦺 Choose bright or reflective costumes so children are easier for drivers to see.
🔦 Carry flashlights or glow sticks to help light the way.
🚸 Use sidewalks and crosswalks, and look both ways before crossing the street.
🚗 Drivers, please slow down, stay alert, and watch carefully for children, especially after dark.

Our community is full of little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes who are counting on us to help keep them safe. 💙🤍 Let's work together to make sure every child gets home safely after a night of Halloween fun!

Congratulations to Mr. Whitbred!

He has been voted by his peers as both the Subsection 18 Activities Director of the Year and the Section 5A Activities Director of the Year!

In addition, Mr. Whitbred has been selected to serve as the Region 5A Representative for the AD Advisory Committee beginning in 2027–28. He will also be formally recognized at the MNIAAA banquet in March.

These honors are a tremendous testament to his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to student activities. We are incredibly proud of Mr. Whitbred and grateful for all the time, energy, and hard work he puts into making Mora Mustang activities so successful. His impact on our students, school, and community is truly something to celebrate!

Thank you, Mr. Whitbred, for everything you do for Mora Mustang activities and for representing Mora with excellence at the state level!

🇺🇸 Mora Public Schools Veterans Day Program 🇺🇸

Mora Public Schools warmly invites our veterans, their families, and community members to join us for our Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, November 11, at 9:00 AM in the North Gym at Mora Elementary School.

We look forward to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country through music from our 5th and 6th grade choirs, student poetry readings, a special presentation of the colors by the Mora American Legion, and more. Veterans attending the program are invited to sign in before the service so we can recognize them during the program. ❤️🤍💙

Following the program, guests are welcome to enjoy coffee and cookies and visit our Wall of Honor outside Court 6, featuring information and photos of veterans collected by our students.

We are grateful for the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families and look forward to coming together as a Mustang community to show our appreciation.

We’re excited to celebrate the opening of the Wood Street Trail!
Join us Tuesday, October 27th! Families are invited to meet at the park at 7:30 AM to walk or roll to school together. Bring your bikes, scooters, and kiddos! The walk begins at 7:40 AM.
