Campaign season is here! It is more important than ever to get our Democratic Candidates elected. How do we do that? With volunteers and talking to voters. We have activities happening NOW that we need your help with: Even just an hour of your time makes a difference.
Phone Bank to invite Volunteers:
Roy Surrett, Our candidate for NC Senate District 2, has a Phone bank happening NOW. He is calling strong Democrats in Martin & Washington County to find volunteers in those areas. These should be fun and interesting calls. Can you help? Roy has set up in person Meet & Greets in both of these counties for THIS Saturday May 16th. The phone calls are to invite people to these events.

You can phone bank anytime between 9 am and 8:30 pm
A Few Pointers:
If you click on the link to start, you can see the script and get familiar with it before you start calls.
You can make all the calls from within your laptop (or phone if you are using that). You will not have to dial the numbers from your personal phone and people you call will not see your personal phone number.
If you like, you can say you're from the Martin or Washington County Democratic Party - depending on where the individual you are calling is from.
If you don't have an Action ID - you can just set up a login with an email and a password of your choice.
The script asks people if they are interested in participating in any of the Meet & Greet's - if they are (even if they aren't sure they can make it) - you can click on the blue event link in the script and fill in their info (first and last name; email) to sign them up. They will get a reminder.
The script also asks people for a good email address. There's a blue link to Roy's campaign (Roy Surrett) - if you click it, there's a place you can enter their email address and it will go right to the campaign.
Knock Doors:
Direct Voter Contact is proven to be the BEST way to get people to vote for us. People are ready & want to talk because of all that is going on in our country!

We’ll start with a quick training, get you set up with a partner if needed, and make sure you have everything you need to feel confident at the doors.
