Just a heads up folks. Do not rely on just one single source for your weather alerts.

Earlier today, Radar Omega was showing it was raining on Christy Creek. At the same exact time, WeatherWise was not showing any rain at all.

Then just a few minutes ago I got a call from the Rowan Alert system stating that the severe thunderstorm warning for our area had expired, while at the same time, the National Weather Service was issuing another warning for our area.

I'm not sure what's going on. But when it comes to weather, have multiple sources for information and always err on the side of caution.

I'll be the first to admit I've not seen the forecast, but from everything that I'm seeing on social media, Kentucky is expecting very severe weather on Tuesday - so much that nationally renowned storm chasers are planning on being in the state.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, friends.
