The sound of progress this morning as dirt is moving inside the MMRC Regional Industrial Park in Morehead and Rowan County. 🚧🚜🦺

Standafer Builders Inc of West Liberty, KY has been retained through a competitive bid process to construct a new 150,000 square foot build ready site.

A build ready site allows for an expanding company locating to increase construction times by eliminating potential delays for site work during inclement weather seasons.

The MMRC Regional Industrial Park is a regional effort that supports economic development for Menifee, Morgan, and Rowan Counties!

What a great day for Morehead and Rowan County today! Good things are happening all around our city and county and today is just another shining example.

St. Claire Healthcare announces a $4 million capital investment to construct a new 5,000 square foot Urgent Care facility that will employ 25-30 new employees and today, we helped celebrate this step forward to expand healthcare access.

Thursday was a very good day for the MMRC Regional Industrial Park and the region. This funding will help us continue to develop land inside the park and extend infrastructure to recruit our next business partner.

Great things are happening in Rowan County. Thanks to a $212,500 state grant and a local match from the MMRC Regional Industrial Development Authority, we’re going to be making a total of $425,000 in upgrades to our Industrial Park. To make our land site-ready, we will be constructing a new 150,000 square foot pad with upgrades in site work for grade, drain, and infrastructure extensions. We are so encouraged by the support we’ve received from Governor Beshear and Rocky Adkins, and we look forward to the jobs and opportunities for economic success this will create.
