When I read the news that Oak Ridge Boys singer Joe Bonsall had died on Tuesday (July 9), my first thought was sadness at the loss of someone everyone in country music will remember as one of the genuinely bright lights in the business.

As Vice President I want to send prayers to the family of Gary Richards, he was a friend of the association behind the scenes, he was a ex police office in Wisconsin, where he lived, past away this week. He enjoyed the heritage of ky bourbon and came yearly to do the bourbon trail, visit with his friends here and help with fire school for the past 5 years.... we will miss you Gary, with prayers to you and your family in time of sorrow....
