It is with deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of SFRT District 9 Instructor Adam "Meat" Stapleton. Meat grew up in the fire service at Olive Hill Fire Department where his father served for many years as the Fire Chief. Currently, Meat served as a Captain at Grayson FD, Carter County Emergency Management Director and a supervisor at Carter County 911. He was the example of a person who dedicated their life to public service.

Please keep Sarah, Sebastian and all of his family in your thoughts and prayers.
