Honors student, Kristen Ammons will be interning this summer at MIT’s Haystack Observatory. The facility is a research center of radio astronomy, geodesy, atmospheric science, and instrumentation development. Kristen will be working on a small satellite mission called AERO which will be launched in 2022 and will be looking at Earth's auroral zones—the Northern and Southern Lights. We would like to congratulate Braydon Dungan on being selected by the Office of the Secretary of State to intern for Secretary Grimes. He will spend the spring semester gathering, entering and responding to constituent information and concerns as well as assisting Secretary Grimes personally by attending committee meetings and relaying important information. Braydon is excited to give back to the many efforts that Secretary Grimes has put forth in keeping his age group in the loop with government affairs. Braydon said, “The world is at our fingertips and it’s up to us to showcase our talents through opportunities like this!” We are so proud of Braydon and can’t wait to hear more about his experience in public service.
