Only a few days left until Sunday Funday at the Park — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉
Join us this Sunday, May 17 from 1PM–4PM at Harry T. Clark Community Park for an afternoon packed with fun, food, music, and community as we officially dedicate Rowan County’s new Sports Complex and playground.
Thanks to the generosity of Independent Stave Company and the Boswell family, along with the loving support of the friends and family of Janie Holbrook in her memory, these new additions will serve local families for years to come — and we’re excited to celebrate them together.
We’ll have something for everyone, including:
• Food trucks from Fork and Flame, Meg’s Culinary Kitchen, and Chillbilly Ice Cream
• Kids games and activities organized by the Rowan County Extension Office
• Pickleball demonstrations and beginner lessons on the new courts
• Tennis activities with support from USTA Kentucky
• Music, open green space, and plenty of ways to relax and enjoy the afternoon
Bring the kids, bring a lawn chair, and come spend the day with your community. It’s shaping up to be a great afternoon at the park, and everyone is welcome.
