🏠 GOV. BESHEAR VISITS FLOYD COUNTY FOR NEW HOUSING RIBBON CUTTING 🏠

Governor Andy Beshear traveled to Prestonsburg this week to celebrate the ribbon cutting at New Hope Estates and welcome two new homeowners to the development.

The event brought together state and local officials, housing organizations, and community partners involved in the project, including Frontier Housing, the City of Prestonsburg, Floyd County Fiscal Court, Kentucky Housing Corporation, and the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky.

Officials say the project is aimed at expanding housing opportunities for families in Floyd County and Eastern Kentucky.

According to Frontier Housing, additional homes are planned for the New Hope Estates development.

We were honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting and welcome two new homeowners alongside our wonderful partners Governor Andy Beshear, City of Prestonsburg, Floyd County Fiscal Court Judge Robbie Williams, Big Sandy Area Development District, Mountain Housing, Fahe, Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, Department of Local Government, Kentucky Housing Corporation and others who made this project a reality for people In Floyd County.
