Power back on, thankfully. My contact at First Energy is still getting all the info, but it looks like a transformer on Pinetree in Pepper Pike was involved. I realize that power outages are annoying, concerning and potentially dangerous, especially when cell service is poor. I had to leave my home and the Village Hall to find enough bars to contact authorities. For safety Moreland Hills police installed generators at major intersections on SOM. I am sorry for this disturbance and will work with our utilities to improve our service.

Hello residents. Lately our power and also the internet keeps going on and off. I learned that many other Moreland Hills residents and other local communities are experiencing the same outages. I am in contact with First Energy. Currently they are blaming last night’s storms in other communities, but this has been happening all day today and on Monday too. I will provide you with updates when I have some. In the meantime, I am as frustrated as you.
