A new story just in time for the start of school!

A new story hits the StoryWalk®, just in time for the first day of school in Moretown! Come on down to the Moretown Rec Fields to enjoy Nell Plants a Tree by author Anne Wynter, illustrated by Daniel Miyares.

In this story, a young girl named Nell plants a seed. As it grows into a large pecan tree, Nell also advances in age and becomes a grandmother. The text alternates between her experiences as a young girl, and her delight in watching her grandchildren play in and around this special tree.

The book ends with Nell showing her granddaughter how to plant her own seed that
may one day contribute to the memories and experiences of future generations.

Stop by the library and share your thoughts on the book and your experience walking

While our Summer Learning Programming might be over, we still have two fun challenges to complete. Our Adventure Hunt will be set up through Sunday, August 23rd, stop into any library by Saturday September 5th to claim your prize. And your Bingo sheet needs to be turned in by Monday September 7th to be entered into our raffle (and to get your creemee of course).
