Past Post Commander Cory Williams received his NATIONAL VFW AWARD of his "ALL AMERICAN" hat & certificate at the district meeting August 20th. It was presented to him by the District Commander James Prestenback and State Commander Don Reber.

VFW Post 4222 and Its Auxiliary donated food and supplies to the Morgan City Police Department so they could bring them to the Houma Police Department to help the people impacted by Ida. With the help of these people the supplies was loaded in the Police vehicles. Honor one of their own

Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4222 along with JROTC rifle squad and Michael Swiber honored Carey Montet at his funeral on April 17,2021 by performing the military rights. Auxiliary members are: Stacey Williams, Laurie Elliott and Fay Rutledge. Male post members are: Cory Williams, Sherman Whiting, Frank Elliott, James Haddaway, Alton Austin and Russell Fontenot.

Morgan City High School JROTC Rifle Squad members are: CSM Lane Gaudet, Cadet Kayla Lara, Cadet Emily Carter, Cadet Jose Parades, Cadet Kade Dugas, Cadet Cesar Rodriguez, Cadet LTC Jose Martinez, Cadet Tyler McCollough

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4222 presented awards for 2020-2021 recently from left are Post 4222 Commander Sherman Whiting, "Teacher of the Year" for Post 4222 and District Number #3 is Michael Swiber, Breanna Mayon "Voice of Democracy" first place winner for the Post and for District #3 ,Lt Col. Cory Williams, the Post's "Voice of Democracy" second place winner Dekota Shoemake, Morgan City High School Principal Tim Hymel and Post 4222 Quartermaster Ray Rutledge.

After serving in WW II and surviving to “D Day” landing ( Iwo Jima and Okinawa) Irving Courtney can home and joined the VFW. In 1968 he joined VFW Post 4222 where he has served for over 50 year as a active and continuous member. In the photograph Post Commander Sherman Whiting is presenting Irving a 50 year drape and certificate also pictured is his daughter, Lynnell Hanson.
