📢 CEMETERY CLOSURE UPDATE

Due to weather conditions, the Morgan City Cemetery road repairs have been rescheduled. The cemetery will now be closed Wednesday, August 5, through Friday, August 7, 2026, while repairs are completed.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

🚧 Cemetery Closure Notice 🚧

The City of Morgan City would like to inform the public that the Morgan City Cemetery will be closed Wednesday, July 29, through Friday, July 31, 2026, to allow for road repairs within the cemetery.

For the safety of visitors and work crews, no public access will be permitted during this time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements to provide safer roadways throughout the cemetery. The cemetery is expected to reopen on Saturday, August 1, 2026, weather permitting.
