We are still need a few readers at PVEA for this Wednesday, March 4th, Read Across America. 4th & 5th grade. Here is a little information:
We are seeking community volunteers to read aloud in our elementary classrooms (Preschool–5th grade) as Morgan Hill Unified participates in Read Across America Day. Volunteers are welcome to read in English at all elementary schools, and we especially encourage Spanish-speaking readers to support our Spanish Dual Language Immersion programs at P.A. Walsh and San Martin/Gwinn.
Choose your school and teacher and we will provide the books. There is one alternate spot per teacher if the first spot is already taken. Alternates will only be notified of their placement as a reader if the first reader is not able to participate for some reason. Book titles and YouTube links per grade level are listed below to familiarize yourself with the books. Reading times for individual schools are listed below as well. Reader sign-ups close on Wednesday, February 25th.
