The field was full of energy, teamwork, and smiles at the Goodson Foundation Youth Soccer Camp! Students had the opportunity to build skills, stay active, and learn from dedicated coaches in a fun and supportive environment.

Thank you to the Goodson Foundation and everyone who helped make this experience possible for our students and families. We are grateful for community partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for youth both on and off the field.

Lights, camera, action!

Yesterday marked the exciting first day of MHUSD’s FREE Summer Film Camp in partnership with the Youth Cinema Project. Middle school students from across the district began exploring the world of filmmaking through hands-on experiences with professional film equipment, creative storytelling, and collaboration with industry filmmakers.

Throughout the summer, students will build skills in creativity, communication, and teamwork while bringing their ideas to life on screen. We can’t wait to see what they create!

Congratulations to the Live Oak High School softball team on winning the CIF Central Coast Section Division III Championship!

The Acorns were recognized by the Morgan Hill Unified Board of Education at the June 11 Board meeting for their incredible season, teamwork, determination, and outstanding achievement on the field. We are proud of these student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for representing Live Oak High School and Morgan Hill Unified with excellence throughout the season.

Students at Los Paseos Elementary School were recognized last week for their outstanding participation in the American Computer Science League during the club’s first year on campus.

Twelve students in grades 3–5 competed in four contests throughout the school year against teams from across the United States and around the world, including Canada, India, Brazil, Romania, Macau, and Korea.

Congratulations to 5th graders Leo Mendez and Kent Ma for advancing to the Finals, and special recognition to Leo Mendez as Los Paseos’ overall highest point scorer this season. We are proud of these students for their hard work, problem-solving skills, and dedication to computer science.

Congratulations to the Los Paseos Panthers, winners of the District “Battle of the Books” Championship!

In an exciting game show-style reading competition held at the Steve Tate Morgan Hill Library, the Los Paseos team showcased outstanding teamwork, knowledge, and a love of reading to bring home the championship title.

We are proud of our Panthers for their dedication, preparation, and enthusiasm throughout the competition. Their achievement inspires all of us to keep reading, learning, and growing.
