Over the last two weeks, two of our members took part in and completed their Structural Collapse Technician certification.
While structural collapse rescue is not yet a specialty we offer to our community, we are always proud to support our members as they continue growing their knowledge and experience through advanced training opportunities like this.
This training includes skills such as stabilizing collapsing structures with timber shoring and breaching concrete to gain access to trapped victims. Congratulations to both members on completing this challenging course.

This past weekend, three of our Junior Firefighters had the opportunity to participate in a training event in Alexander County. They were able to sharpen their firefighter skills while also meeting career and volunteer firefighters from different departments who brought a variety of experiences, skill sets, and abilities.

We are always proud to support our members as they pursue additional training and opportunities to grow.

Our Junior Firefighter Program is open to students ages 14–17. Applications can be picked up at the station!

A few members of Triple Community Fire Department traded turnout gear for mud and obstacles this morning and completed a 10K race together.

We’re proud to have a department culture that values teamwork, strong relationships, and doing hard things together. Whether on a call or on the race course, those experiences make us stronger as a team.

Great job to everyone who participated!

Today’s duty crew continued preparing our new Engine 1 for service by finishing racking hose. The engine is now equipped with over 3,000 feet of Key Hose, bringing us one step closer to placing it in service.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our members as they continue getting this apparatus ready to serve our community.

Squad 1 responded this morning to assist Chesterfield Fire & Rescue with an entrapment at their request. Upon arrival, crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and performed a successful patient extrication.

This response is another example of Triple Community’s commitment to serving not only our own community, but our neighbors as well!

Triple Community Fire department will be conducting routine hydrant testing in the area over the coming days. This important maintenance helps ensure that all hydrants are functioning properly and are ready for emergency use. During this process, residents may notice temporary discoloration or cloudiness in their water due to sediment being stirred up in the system. While this can be inconvenient, it is typically harmless and should clear up by running your cold water for a few minutes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep our community safe.
