Oak Hill Fire & Rescue Auxiliary

Auxiliary Members aide the firefighters on scene by responding with beverages and snacks during prolonged events or calls.

They arrange and coordinate fundraisers and help out with many duties around the department.

With great sadness and heartbreak, OHFR and the Powell Family lost a great man. Please pray for the Family, the Department, and the Community of Oak Hill / Burke County that all knew and valued his presence. He will be missed tremendously.

This year, beginning now, through 1pm on Tuesday, November 22nd, the OHFR Auxiliary is accepting dry food/canned goods to support a few local (Oak Hill) less fortunate families for Thanksgiving. If you wish to donate, feel free to stop by OHFR between 8am and 4pm to deliver your contribution. If personnel are not available on site (due to a Services call), you may return and try again, or reach out to us here on Facebook Messenger so that we can ensure we can accept it.
Thank you again for being great Community supporters, we wish you have a great upcoming Holiday Season!
