Last week, members of our board and staff had the honor of attending the Burke County Board of Commissioners meeting to accept a formal proclamation recognizing Burke County United Way's 70th anniversary. 🎉

Our board president, Cindy Davies, shared a few words on behalf of our organization, reflecting on seven decades of community partnership and the work still ahead.
We are deeply grateful to the Burke County Board of Commissioners for this recognition. It means the world to our team, our volunteers, and everyone who has made this work possible over the years.

Here's to 70 more years of serving Burke County together. 💙

We're honored to allocate $5,000 to the Burke County Public Schools Employee Crisis Fund!
Cheryl Shuffler, Public Relations Officer at BCPS, stopped by to accept the funds on behalf of school employees who need a helping hand during difficult times. This allocation is made possible through our Disaster Recovery Fund, and the generosity of this community. 💙

Our friends Burke United Christian Ministries will be hosting the NC Works Job Fair from 10 to 2 on Wednesday. Ten employers that are currently hiring will be on site at BUCM (576 E. Fleming Drive Morganton.)

This Wednesday BUCM will be hosting the NC Works Job Fair from 10 to 2. There will be ten employers on site that are currently hiring. It is a great opportunity to learn more and see if one of these might be the right fit for you!

We are always so excited to participate in TOSS's Student Art Summer Expo! There are 68 posters in 21 different businesses and organizations throughout Downtown Morganton. Talented artists from elementary to high school are featured in windows until August 15th.
