Today we were able to provide our seniors in Burke County with food and water. Most of our seniors didn’t have access to the essentials after the storm. Thank you to the volunteers and staff that made this possible. ❤️

Part of The Outreach Center's WOW program is Levi's Woodworking Shop. Our amazingly talented Levi has just completed and sold his first custom table. Thank you Mary Wright for the purchase! Levi saved and reclaimed the original floor joists in the upstairs part of our new building. (The old Jordan Cleaners building). So this table is made from 100 year old wood.

Joey Allen Martin Artworks Joey Martin is such an amazing talent and we are so fortunate when he teaches our WOW seniors.
Over the summer he painted a beautiful wall mural at 100 Main in Valdese. Check out the video.

The Outreach Center's new WOW Woodworking Shop is starting to produce some beautiful pieces. Here's a table our own Levi Michaels is making using the floor joists that were removed as we continue to refurbish the old Jordan Cleaners building, which is the new home of The Outreach Center. Thanks to Levi for repurposing a piece of history. We'll keep you updated on this wonderful table!

🎨🎨Another WOW Art Workshop🎨🎨 was held today taught by the wonderful Joey Martin Joey Allen Martin Artworks
The work was done in acrylics (🙏Thank you Cheap Joe's Art Stuff!!) and there were masterpieces all around. The main thing is everyone had a great time, creativity flowed, and lunch from Chick-fil-A Morganton

🎨 Arts and Prayers 🙏🏻

TOC had another amazing Tuesday morning Bible study. These ladies love supporting each other, praying and spending time in the Bible. This week they enjoyed making their own personal t-shirt. 🥶🥶Some of the elderly in our Sr. Box Program have little or no heat in their home and tonight is going to be the coldest since last winter. So today, on Giving Tuesday, we were out distributing these wonderful, new Lasko Products heaters. They have high output, thermostat controlled, warm touch screens, tip over protection and remotes. 💕💕A heartfelt Thank You to Michael E Watts and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Blue Ridge Realtors who made these heaters possible. Thanks for caring and making a true difference in our community. Thanks also to our donors and volunteers who make all this possible. We are blessed! 🙏🙏
