Workers' Legacy Exhibition Seeking Stories of all Millworkers! The Workers' Legacy Exhibition started by a local son of a millworker.

The mission of this exhibition is to capture the stories of the women and men who worked in our local textile and furniture mills.

After 1990, the classic textile and furniture industries were devastated by international trade policies that severely challenged the textile and apparel industries in the United States and particularly in the state of North Carolina, a leader in textile manufacturing.
