🍩❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who attended Donuts with Grown-Ups at North Butler Elementary! We loved seeing so many families spend time together and start the day with smiles, conversation, and sweet treats. 🍩

At NBES, we believe family involvement plays an important role in student success. When families are engaged in their child’s school experience, it helps build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a supportive learning environment for our students.

North Butler Elementary’s First Grade Family Literacy & Arts Night in March, was a huge success, bringing together students, families, staff, and community members for an evening of creativity, collaboration, and literacy fun.

Families enjoyed interactive literacy stations focused on phonics, decoding, and sight words, while also exploring student artwork, painting clay monsters together, and hearing from guest author Carl June Franks. Thanks to NBES Art Teacher, Mrs. Decker and BCHS Art teacher, Mrs Burdette, One special highlight was the collaboration between first graders and Butler County High School art students, who transformed students’ monster drawings into hand-sewn stuffed monsters!

The evening showcased the power of communication, collaboration, creativity, and family engagement in helping students grow and succeed. Thanks to NBES FRC, every family left with literacy resources and supplies to continue learning at home.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful event possible. When schools and families work together, students thrive!

🎨🎶📚 North Butler Elementary’s Music & Art in Literacy Family Night on April 30th was a huge success! ❤️💙

Students and families enjoyed exploring our Student Art Show, participating in engaging Music and Art Centers, and making meaningful literacy connections together throughout the evening. Through these activities, students also strengthened important COLLABORATION and COMMUNICATION skills by working together, sharing ideas, creating with others, and interacting with their families and peers in positive ways.

Families enjoyed a free meal provided by the NBES FRC, and lots of exciting door prizes were given away throughout the night! 🍕🎁

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special. We love seeing our NBES Cub families learning, creating, and growing together! 🐻❤️💙

💕 Thank you for showing up, wiping away tears, giving advice and making children feel safe and loved! 💕

Last week, we celebrated our incredible staff at North Butler Elementary School!

Our teachers and staff go above and beyond every single day to love, support, encourage, and educate our students.

From early mornings to late afternoons, they pour their hearts into creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where every child can learn and grow.

They are mentors, role models, cheerleaders, problem solvers, and difference makers.

Their dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for the impact they make on the lives of our students and families each day.

Thank each of you, for your hard work, your patience, your compassion, and your commitment to excellence. North Butler Elementary is certainly a better place because of each one of you!

We want to recognize an incredible young leader, Harlie Chapman, for her dedication and service to the students and families of North Butler Family Resource Center this school year! ❤️💙

As our FRYSC AmeriCorps Youth Volunteer, Harlie has completed more than 300 hours of service throughout the year. Her work has focused on supporting student literacy, helping address food insecurity, and assisting with many FRC programs and activities across our school community.

Harlie is always willing to step in wherever help is needed — whether she’s working with students, organizing donations, helping with events, or lending a hand behind the scenes. Her kindness, leadership, and servant heart have made a lasting impact on North Butler Elementary.

We are so thankful for Harlie’s hard work and dedication this year and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes in the future! 🐻❤️💙
