If you are without water in the fifth District area it is due to a main waterline break. It has also affected areas in Warren County. I have spoken with water company representatives and they are in the process of repairing it, but couldn’t give me a time-line for completion.

..GUSTY WINDS MOVING INTO LOGAN...BUTLER AND OHIO COUNTIES...

At 1022 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Masonville to 8 miles southeast of Crofton. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

Winds gusts of 30 to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Hartford, Morgantown, Anderson, Casey, Lee, Beaver Dam, Auburn, Adairville and Lewisburg.

* Waves of showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight.

Repeated heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding,
especially in areas that saw heavy rain on Thursday.

* Motorists should be prepared for rapidly reduced visibilities in heavy rainfall, and ponding or flooding of water on road surfaces.

Keep in mind that areas that have already experienced recent heavy rains will flood more quickly with additional heavy rain.

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Indiana and Kentucky, including the following areas, in Indiana, Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, and Washington.

In Kentucky, Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle,
Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Casey, Clark, Edmonson,
Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Grayson, Green, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Hart, Henry, Jefferson, Jessamine, Larue, Lincoln, Logan, Madison, Marion, Meade, Mercer, Nelson, Nicholas, Ohio, Oldham, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor, Trimble, Warren, Washington, and Woodford.

* Through Friday morning

* A low pressure system has brought widespread rain showers to the Lower Ohio Valley this morning, and as a semi-stationary front sets up near the Ohio River, additional storms and showers are expected to move along the front.

This will likely result in training of showers and thunderstorms over the same areas.

These areas will likely observe flooding conditions with flash flooding possible due to the heavy rainfall rates expected.
