ATTENTION TAXPAYERS.
The list of delinquent real estate taxes will be published next week in the Banner and on Beechtree News.
In order for names not to appear in the paper the taxes must be paid today. I have to send the list first thing Friday morning.

Due to not receiving the machine or race to be Audited from the Secretary of States Office.
The date for the Hand To Eye Audit has been changed to tomorrow May 21, 2026 at 3pm.

The Butler County Board of Elections will conduct the audit. There will be 2 teams of 2 (1 Democrat and 1 Republican per team of our Current Election Officers) that will hand count the ballots from Verity Scan #1 that was located at 4th District(NBES).

The Secretary of State randomly draws which machine and which race that will be counted by hand during the audit.

IT’S ELECTION DAY! Polls will be OPEN till 6pm.
If you have an absentee mail ballot it can be returned to the Ballot Box in the Courthouse Lobby!
It’s pretty outside.

Tomorrow May 19, 2026 is Primary Election Day in Kentucky. 🇺🇸
In Butler County This is for Republicans and Democrats
There is no ballot for independents or other party voters. Also if you changed your party after December 31,2025 you are not eligible to vote in the primary.

We have 2 Vote Centers.
Voters from all precincts may cast their ballots at either
Morgantown Elementary School OR
The Butler County Road Department

Precinct specific locations are
2nd District Fire Department
3rd District Rochester Fire Department
4th District North Butler Elementary School
5th District. Fire Department
You must live In that precinct to Vote at the last 4 locations

We will be there all day for Election Business only. 5am-?
Get out and Vote Butler County.

Remember this is a partisan(Republican & Democrat) Election and you can only vote for candidates in the Party you were registered in on 12/31/2025!
There are NO ballots available if you are registered as Independent or Other Party Or if you changed your party after 12/31/2025!

***In the November 3, 2026 General Election you can Vote for any candidate regardless of your party affiliation!
