Lashmeet Matoaka is prioritizing wellness by creating spaces and programs that support both emotional and physical health. From a calming room for students to wellness opportunities for staff, the school is making meaningful improvements.

The addition of a calming room helps students learn to regulate emotions and return to class ready to learn. These proactive strategies support focus, reduce disruptions, and build lifelong coping skills.

New recess equipment and staff wellness activities are encouraging movement, connection, and stress relief. Together, these efforts are helping create a healthier and more supportive school environment.
