This is Spot.
He’s an amazing dog. He doesn’t mind cats, doesn’t mind dogs at all and wants to play with them. He loves people and doesn’t jump up on them. He’s great with kids-and he’s looking for a home.
If you can believe it, his owner moved out of his house and left him behind.
Left him abandoned in an empty house, alone.
All this dog wants is love and affection. He sits on your lap like a tiny dog lol.

UPDATE- Alysha Lenderman from Duke City Dog Spa will be taking them in for awhile. She is VERY experienced in puppy care and we will be in close communication to make sure she gets everything she needs to help them grow safely and happily. Thank you Alysha!

Help needed: Two young puppies thrown from a vehicle on the hwy in Moriarty. Another car picked them up, and took them to Lisa’s truck stop at 1am. The staff there took the puppies home but cannot keep them. Needs them picked up today. She said they look barely weaned. The shelter is no place for neonatal puppies. Is anyone willing to foster the puppies temporarily? If so, I can put you in contact with the staff person from Lisa’s that has them. They need to be picked up quickly near the Pilot. If you can help please comment.

$20 adoption fee includes sterilization, vaccinations and microchip
Qualified Adopter Requirements
* Person who is 18 years of age or older with valid photo ID, who has never been convicted of any form of Cruelty under the law and has never been convicted two or more times for any violation of any Animal Ordinance (or predecessor ordinance).
* Fill out adoption application. Many factors contribute to each adoption placement and we will work hard to ensure that your needs and our animal's needs are met.
* Never had any animal-related permit revoked or suspended
* Never failed to reclaim an animal from the Animal Welfare Department
* Has not owner surrendered an animal within one year of time of adoption
* Has never been convicted of child or domestic abuse
* No more than four animals per household are permitted in the city, of which all four can be dogs.
Please understand that this is an adoption, not a "sale."
