Do you know whose dog this is? She was picked up on Stanford St today in Moriarty.
She is wearing a pink collar.
She may belong to someone who drives a Tacoma.
If this is your dog or you know who she belongs too, please call 505-832-6060 on Monday (8am-5pm) to reclaim her.

Sometimes we are blessed to be able to help other shelters in our area that are filling up faster than we are. We had a few empty kennels so we went ahead and took a couple of dogs from the Torrance County animal services and brought them into Moriarty Animal Control. They are both looking for homes.

Your $20 adoption fee covers their spay, micro, chipping, and vaccinations for the first year.

Arabella is about 7 to 8 months old, possibly an Irish wolfhound puppy. She will be spayed on Friday and is a very lovable dog. She is interested in being friends with other dogs, but can be a little shy at first. She is safe with children as well as adults, but has not been tested with cats.

Rogue is a very small bully mix. She’s full grown at about 40 pounds and is such a great size! Not too big not too small! She’s interested in playing with other dogs and interacts safely with them. She has a very high activity level and would prefer a home where she has other dogs to run around in a big yard with or is exercise frequently.

If you have interest in meeting either of these girls, please call my office. 505-832-6060 and let me know what time you would like to come down to the shelter to spend time with them. We are open Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM.

Take a look.
Two days ago- I saw a dog OFF LEASH (dog was dragging a leash but it was not in hand.) in Walmart, that was trying to p*e on each end cap.
When asked by the Eye Center to put the dog on leash, owner yelled at the staff that it is “on leash.”
I LOVE DOGS.
I love seeing them at dog friendly breweries, festivals, markets, park events.
I DONT LOVE THEM RUNNING AROUND GROCERY STORES, using the restroom where we buy our food.
Your “ESA” is NOT legally permitted in establishments that do not allow pets. Not at your job. Not in office buildings, banks, or stores that have no pet policies. Leave them at home.
