Our students explored their Economics Unit and learned all about our amazing Community Helpers! 🏘️❤️
We were excited to welcome a civil engineer who shared about their important job, and our students put on their engineer hats to design and build their very own bridges! 🧱🌉✨
🚒 We also had a fire truck visit, giving our students an exciting opportunity to learn more about our firefighters and how they help keep our community safe! 🧑‍🚒❤

🐾💙💛 PINER HAS SOMETHING BIG TO CELEBRATE! 💛💙🐾

It’s been a GREAT day to be a Piner Panther! 🟢🎉

Today, our Panthers came together for a special schoolwide celebration, and we couldn’t be prouder to share why!

🏆 Piner Elementary earned an overall HIGH (GREEN) performance rating on the 2025–26 Kentucky Summative Assessment!

📈 Our overall accountability score increased by 6.8 points, and our Panthers outperformed the Kentucky state average in ALL FIVE tested content areas!

We had an incredible time celebrating this accomplishment with our students and staff at today’s assembly! 💚

These results represent so much more than a score. They reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community. This is a celebration for ALL of Piner!

We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited about where we’re headed!

⭐️🐾 We LOVE seeing our 5-Star Preschool Classroom meeting with full fidelity today! 💙💛 Our Panthers are doing an amazing job engaging in parallel play, learning alongside their friends, and building important social skills! 🧩🧸👏 We are so proud of our littlest learners and the wonderful learning happening every day! 🐾

We can’t wait to see everyone at Readifest on Friday! 📚✨

We’re excited to celebrate the new school year together! To help the evening run smoothly and reduce traffic throughout the building, please make every effort to attend during your child’s assigned grade-level time.

If that timeframe doesn’t work for your family, we completely understand. You’re welcome to join us anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Your child’s teacher will make sure you receive all the information and materials you need.

🚐 Parking Tip: A shuttle will run between Piner Baptist Church and the school throughout the event, providing families with an additional parking option.

Thank you for being an important part of our Piner community and helping us kick off a wonderful 2026–2027 school year!🐾 💕

Today, our halls were filled with applause, laughter, high-fives, and so much pride as the Class of 2026 returned to where their journey began for one final walk.

Our younger Panthers cheered them on every step of the way, seeing a glimpse of what their own future can hold. Moments like this remind us that every student’s story starts here—and that the future is bright.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of you. Once a Panther, always a Panther!
