Grass Valley Search Warrant Ex*****on

On August 5, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the Oregon State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) executed a search warrant on Third Street in Grass Valley.

There is no threat to the public. Because this is an active investigation being conducted by the OSP and the FBI, the Sherman County Sheriff's Office will not be releasing any additional details.

If the investigating agencies release information at a later date, we will share it with the public as it becomes available.

Deputies will be sporting their new commemorative badges in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. Inspired by the Sherman County Sheriff's Office badge design from 1904, these badges honor both our nation's history and our agency's heritage. We think they turned out great and are proud to wear them throughout this historic year.

Huge trash haul today! 💪🛥️

The Oregon Youth Corps crew and their leader put in an incredible day of hard work, filling the boat with trash collected from the John Day and Columbia Rivers.

Thanks to their efforts, our waterways are cleaner today than when we started. We truly appreciate these youth for helping protect our natural resources and keeping Oregon beautiful. Great job, everyone!
