Petit Jean Garden Club

Petit Jean Garden Club Petit Jean Garden Club is an active gardening group. The club meets every second Friday of the month at 12:00 Noon at the Morrilton Chamber of Commerce.

Weather permitting we have been meeting out of doors at the park. Message us for information. Petit Jean Garden Club is located in Morrilton Arkansas. They meet the second Friday of each month at 12:00. Usually at the Chamber of Commerce. They hold a Plant sale every spring. Volunteer their time to help with gardens around town at such places as the schools and parks. They work at the county fair every fall in the judging of the plants.

This class is a part of the Conservation Training Program, a collaborative initiative to foster development of a skilled conservation workforce in Northwest Arkansas. Registration is open on a rolling basis, and it is FREE to participate. Students will receive skills training, networking opportunities, and resume-building experiences.

Join the fun during our Blackberry Pruning program on THURS, 9/3, from 4:30pm-5:30pm as Krista Quinn from the UofA Extension Services teaches us how to prune our blackberries to get ready for winter and next spring! ๐ŸŒฑ

This will be a hands-on demonstration and learning opportunity. Please being your pruning shears if you would like to get some practice. We may have clippings for folks to take home.
