Morrilton firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak on West Childress Street on Sunday afternoon. The homeowner reported smelling gas. Firefighters were able to quickly trace the smell to a pilot light that had gone out. The gas was turned off and the fumes evacuated. There were no injuries or property damage.
