Kiwanis Club of Morrilton delivered the monthly backpack food to Morrilton Primary on Thursday, November 6. Shown are Kiwanians Jean Fitzwater, Patti Franklin, Stephenie Smilth and Kelli Smith, presenting to Staff member Donna Hill.

We would like to thank Burris Heat and Air for being the sponsor for the backpack program for the entire school year.

The South Conway County School District is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Henry Turner, long-time principal of North Side Elementary School.

Mr. Turner touched countless lives through his leadership, kindness, and unwavering dedication to students, staff, and the Morrilton community. He was more than an educator—he was a mentor, a role model, and a true Devil Dog at heart. His passion for education and his love for people made a lasting impact that will continue to inspire generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Turner’s family and loved ones. His legacy of excellence, compassion, and Devil Dog pride will forever remain part of who we are as a district and community.
