Public Notice Regarding Use of the Fire House Meeting Room

It has come to our attention that a rumor is circulating in the village/town regarding the use of the fire house meeting room. We would like to clarify this matter.

The rumor states that the public can no longer use the fire house meeting room. This is not true. The fire house meeting room is still available for public use.

However, please note that the pavilion located behind the fire house is not affiliated with the fire department. The pavilion is managed separately.

If you wish to rent:

• The fire house meeting room: You must contact and contract with the fire department.

• The pavilion: You must contact and contract with the Village of Morris.

If you plan to use both facilities, separate contracts are required—one with the fire department for the fire house and one with the Village of Morris for the pavilion.

Thank you for allowing us to clear up this misunderstanding.

With the recent snowfall, please help keep our community safe by making sure fire hydrants are cleared of snow. In an emergency, every second counts.

If there is a fire hydrant in front of your home, please take a moment to shovel it out. If you do not have one but notice a nearby hydrant that hasn’t been cleared, please check with the homeowner to see if it’s okay to help shovel it.

Thank you for helping keep everyone safe.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! 🎄✨May your day be filled with laughter, love, and special memories.
