Investigator Damon Curfman and Deputy Brian Swiontek stopped by the Summer Sizzle program in Morris, MN, today and "cited" this group for wearing their helmets! Enjoy your free ice cream, kids!

Thank you again to the Morris Area Women of Today and The Fire Side for teaming up and offering these free ice cream coupons to our office to hand out to kids who are spotted wearing their helmets!

This morning, August 11, 2026, our office received a criminal damage to property report that occurred at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 20490 480th Avenue, Morris, MN. Staff reported that the side door of the church was broken into and contents throughout the church office were gone through and trashed.

It is believed that the criminal damage occurred sometime between the hours of 4:00pm on Monday, 08/10/2026, and 9:00am this morning (08/11/2026). Investigation into this incident is ongoing.

It’s that time of year again! We’d like to introduce you to Herman Reinmaa! Herman is a student from Estonia and he is doing a summer exchange program with Southwestern Advantage. Herman will be going door-to-door selling educational books and apps.
