2026 Summer Construction Update:

Stevens County would like to clarify that construction on CSAH 10 will NOT begin until the TH 28 project(Starbuck to Morris) is completed and reopened.

TH 28 is currently closed for a MnDOT project, and CSAH 10 is serving as the detour route. Recent construction signs placed on CSAH 10 were installed in advance of the future county project and do NOT mean the road will be closed at this time.

Stevens County is coordinating with MnDOT to avoid closing both routes at the same time and to minimize disruption for the public.

Stevens has several frost boils throughout the county. Locations we are aware of have been marked with orange flags.

Please slow to below 30 mph when approaching these areas to help reduce damage and improve safety for everyone traveling our roads.

Horizon Public Health honors the life and legacy of Sandy Tubbs, a visionary leader, compassionate nurse, and dedicated public health advocate who passed away on April 8, 2026.

Sandy played an instrumental role in shaping Horizon Public Health and strengthening services across our region. Her leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to community wellbeing left a lasting impact on countless individuals and families. She was not only a respected administrator, but also a trusted colleague, mentor, and friend.

Her legacy lives on in the programs she helped build, the partnerships she fostered, and the lives she touched through her work and kindness. We extend our deepest sympathy to Sandy’s family and loved ones. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
