In observance of Juneteenth, We Care will be closed this Friday, June 19.

We are now collecting new school supplies for our Back-to-School Program to help local children start the school year prepared and confident.

Some of the items we often need most include:

• Highlighters
• Dry erase markers (4-color packs)
• Colored folders
• Wide ruled composition notebooks
• College ruled composition notebooks

Stuff the Bus will take place at Walmart in Morris on Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 AM–Noon, but new school supply donations are welcome anytime between now and then.

In just 5 days, our community will come together at the The Creek at Morris Country Club for the 2026 Drive Out Hunger Golf Outing benefiting the Weekend Food for Kids Program.

Every golfer, sponsor, raffle ticket, and donation helps provide weekend meals to local children right here in Grundy County. 💛

We can’t wait for an evening filled with golf, community, food, fun, and making a real impact together.

School may not be out yet, but we’re already planning for the next school year. 📚✏️

We Care of Grundy County’s Back-to-School Assistance Program will once again help Grundy County families with free school supplies for eligible K–12 students.

Applications are due by Friday, July 17. Shopping appointments will take place July 27–29.
