There are no parking signs along a portion of West 5th Street as there will be a milling and reshaping of the road happening this week. Next week, June 1-5, the area will be blacktopped. Sorry for any inconvenience, this improvement should be wrapped up soon!

The City of Morris Arbor Month Annual Tree Planting will be held May 20th from 4:00-6:00 at Kjenstad Park (Idaho Avenue & West 4th Street).

Bring shovels, gloves or just yourself. Extra tools helpful. Spanish interpreter will be present. Rain date is May 26th.

The City of Morris will begin flushing fire hydrants on Monday, May 11th. Flushing will be done only during weekdays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This process will last approximately two weeks.

Please verify that your water is free of color before doing laundry, bathing, etc. Public cooperation is appreciated. Thank you!

Now that warm weather has arrived, the Tree Board with the City of Morris would like to remind residents to avoid bringing outside firewood into Morris. Firewood can be infested with tiny Emerald Ash Borer larvae. Please buy your firewood locally so we can keep EAB out of Morris for as long as possible!
