Memorial Day Closure Reminder

We will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026, as we honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Did you know? Memorial Day was originally known as “Decoration Day” because communities would decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers and flags following the Civil War. Today, it continues as a national day of remembrance and reflection.

Even while the building is closed, you can still explore some of our amazing online resources from home! Check out these two new resources available for free with your library card from our website

Playgarden Prep: online preschool program offering learning videos, live Zoom classes, and hands on materials
Hiveclass: on-demand e-learning platform offering movement videos for all ages, abilities and interests

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
