At our meeting last night the Town of Plattsburgh Democratic Party unanimously endorsed Scott Ewing for the position of County Corner. Scott along with Keith Bruno for County Court Judge, Jaime Douthat for Surrogate Court Judge and David Favro for Clinton County Sheriff puts forward a strong team of committed public servants. This group has a track record of professional community engagement.

-Chuck Kostyk, Town Supervisor
-Ilona Selzer-Kelting, Town Councilor
-Jay White, Town Clerk

The Town of Plattsburgh Democratic Caucus will be held on Wednesday May 20th at Town Hall. Doors will open at 6:00pm with caucus starting at 7:00pm. Reminder that doors will close promptly at 7:00pm. Caucus is open to all registered Democrats in the Town of Plattsburgh. Positions for caucus nomination to be placed on the November Ballot are Town Supervisor, Town Clerk and Town Councilor (one position). All are for a one year term.

Violence is never, ever acceptable. We need to join together as a country to work through our differences with an acceptance of differing views and ideas. We are thankful that no one was seriously injured and are thoughts are with those affected.
