Trust for Public land will be hosting their first community meeting to explore a community vision for the Patriots’ Path at Lake Pocahontas.

Trust for Public Land, in partnership with The Town of Morristown and Morris County Parks Commission, is launching a community-driven design process for a section of the Patriots’ Path and adjacent open space along Lake Pocahontas.

The opportunity: reenvision an underutilized piece of public land into a space that reflects the needs, history, and character of the more than 9,000 people who live with a 10-minute walk of the site.

We are seeking community input that will inform early design renderings and ultimately shape a conceptual plan for the space.

We encourage residents, local organizations, and stakeholders to attend the upcoming public meeting to share their ideas and help guide the future of this important community asset.
