Please join me in celebrating the four wonderful interns my chambers hosted this summer at the Court of Appeals. I see very bright futures ahead for these law students.
From L to R:
Alyssa Fizer earned a BA from the University of Cincinnati and is a rising 2L at Regent University School of Law. At Regent Law, Alyssa serves on the Center for Global Justice and as Class President and Executive Secretary for the Student Bar Association. After law school, Ms. Fizer intends to pursue a career in criminal prosecution.
Daniel Liu earned a BA from North Carolina State University and is a rising 2L at High Point University School of Law. At HPU law, Daniel earned a position on Law Review and serves as President of Christian Legal Society. After law school, Mr. Liu plans to pursue a career in regulatory/compliance or appellate advocacy in civil litigation.
Turner T. Gantt earned a BA from North Carolina State University and is a rising 3L at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. As a second year law student, Mr. Gantt represented Campbell in the 2025 ABA Negotiations Competition and assisted his Campbell peers as a Law Library Assistant. Following his internship, Mr. Gantt will be studying abroad in Scotland as a participant in the Academy of the Advocate’s School of the Trial program. After law school, Mr. Gantt intends to pursue a career in criminal justice as an Assistant District Attorney with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office.
William Christensen earned a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a rising 2L at UNC School of Law. At UNC Law, Will earned a position on the Holderness Moot Court Appellate Advocacy competition team and serves as President of the Media Law Society. After law school, Mr. Christensen plans to pursue a career in business litigation as an appellate advocate.
