Interested in serving your community? Nomination papers are now available for candidates seeking election to the Morton Grove Park District Board of Commissioners in the April 6, 2027, Consolidated Election.

Two positions will be elected:
• One six-year term
• One two-year unexpired term

📅 Petitions may be circulated beginning August 25, 2026.
📍 Nomination papers are available at the Morton Grove Park District Administrative Office, 6834 Dempster Street, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Candidate petitions will be accepted November 16–23, 2026, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

Metra Station Parking Lot Closure
The Metra Station parking lot will be closed from Friday, August 28, through Tuesday, September 1, to complete the final pavement surface layer and landscape improvements

During the closure, the Village will provide free alternate parking at 8550 Lehigh Avenue for Metra passengers.

Please plan accordingly and allow additional time for parking during this period. We appreciate your patience as this work is completed.

Since 1997, the event has raised more than $1.6 million for student scholarships, helping provide SXU students with access to a transformative educational experience.
